Ha, I knew I'd get a reaction on that!

AP is only 'far left' in relation to Fox News. To me it looks in the 'moderate' range, quietly offering it's fact-checking and 'explainers'. Of course there's no way for me to convince anyone that the information there is true. And no way for anyone to convince me that the alt-news sites I've examined are true.

    Chaos reigns!

Fox News is NOT far Right, although many of their opinion commentators certainly are. The news division tends to actually be down the middle, but they get labeled as right wing because they allow both sides to be represented.

I consider Fox News to be left of center but not off the map like most of the others.

Yeah, it actually leans a bit to the left, but the lefties always refer to it as "Radical Right" simply because it allows both sides to be represented and doesn't only present the opinion of the Left. It is a bit like when those in Nazi Germany said something good about Russia or the Jews, they were denounced as being "anti-German" and, many times, thrown in prison or worse. The left can't quite do that yet, but they would if they could get away with it. Just give them time.... Even the President doesn't know what "his" policies are.

That may be so, but it's hard to get past those opinion commentators, who overpower the actual news content. Their seemingly gleeful put-down of 'The Left' seems intended to stoke anger and division, rather than insights and food for thought. Constant mocking or blaming 'The Left' gets old really quick, just as SJW's who constantly shriek insults at 'The Right' do nothing but sew discord.

I can at least tell what is commentary and what is news on Fox, but on MSNBC and especially CNN, they seem to pass commentary off as news stories.

I am not a football fan at all, although I do know who Rodgers is. However, why wasn't his refusal kept to the sports pages instead of becoming national news? It is his life and he can make his own mind up. So what? By the way, it was his insurance company that dropped him.

Frankly, sports figures have been refusing all along, so Rodgers is nothing new.

I admit that I don't watch MSNBC or CNN or the others, since I've not got the patience to sit and watch people talk. I'd rather read my news, and skip the distraction.

The same thing happens with the print media. Years ago, I subscribed to The Christian Science Monitor that I regarded as a fine paper at one time. In those days, when it addressed any political topic, it had two columns and you could read opposing opinions on the topic. I assume that is gone now, as that paper has joined the Left.
