    That’s too bad, Julie. It sounds much the same as here. I had a friend that waited almost two years to get into a low income apartment and I understand that the list is even longer now.

    I hope your name will rise to the top soon.

    Those in their comfortable homes that they probably own, they have no idea about those who live in rentals and many now prefer rentals vs owning, here in the states anyway, and just hearing all the people out of apts and owe so much back rents all due to the covid damage.

    Being loaded withh Stuff that you own or it owns you as we are aging is NOT that glamourous a thing. I have a story of a friend who was left with a house from both her husbands, and she planned it and got rid of the property and went into small living quarters, she wanted to enjoy her last years with her bridge games and not laiden with Stuff to take care of. Willed a lot of her money to her grandgirl who helped her a lot and threw parties for her family and friends. She loved to treat others. She was so smart and wise and played a hellava bridge game.
