I am seeing that they have located the debris in that location now, too, @John Brunner . It is interesting that they also put a 2-day hold on all military aircraft, both inside and outside of the US, if they didn’t think that the plane could have been hi-jacked and were worried that we might lose more of the expensive aircraft. So far, I have not seen any pictures that are supposed to be of the debris field, and it is surprising to me that we didn’t have anyone reporting a downed plane when there must have been a huge explosion and fire with lots of black smoke. It is not that far from Charleston, SC from the picture I found on Twitter.
When a military fighter goes down, it is not generally inconspicuous. This may be true, but it may also be something contrived to cover up something else. I really don't trust anything coming out from this administration unless it is confirmed by a neutral party. We'll see what happens over the next few days. It may simply have been total incompetence on the part of the military.
Yes!! This is the strangest story I’ve heard in a time when strange seems to have become normal. What is going on with this? Incompetence may be the most likely answer but they are certainly inviting doubt and even more distrust by trying to cover it up, whatever “it” is.
Now I see that ALL U.S. military aircraft have been grounded for 2 days for examination. That tells me they believe there was a foreign intervention of some kind. If they thought it was a flaw in the F-35 (and there have been many over the history of the plane), just those planes would be grounded. Instead, every plane in the U.S. arsenal has been grounded. As China moves a huge military air and naval fleet toward Taiwan, the U.S. carrier Roosevelt in in port for the planes to be examined--a sitting duck--and we cannot even monitor the Chinese actions closely by air, much less escort a hostile aircraft away form the idle carrier or air bases in the region. Truly perhaps the greatest embarrassment in the history of the U.S. military.
It is not just planes in the US, but they made a 2-day grounding of all of the planes, both in America and elsewhere in the world. It seems to verify that there was some form of attack and we are trying to figure out how to prevent it from happening to more of the expensive fighter aircraft. I still have not seen anything in the news showing where the plane supposedly crashed, and you would think that some kind of news information would have surfaced by now. Nothing about the pilot that I have heard either, or the pilot flying the other plane. I found a picture that they are saying is where the plane crashed, but all there is left is burned ground, and nothing resembling plane parts at all, and most of the trees and foliage nearby are still nice and green like it was not a big inferno when it crashed. There is still talk that it was either done deliberately in order to make th plane “disappear from records” so it could be delivered to someplace (Ukraine ?), or that it was sabotaged. They do say that pilot did not intentionally eject from the plane.
Yeah, what I saw was it was not just fighters but sub hunters and transport as well. I am sure whatever happened is now highly classified, and the pilot and wingman identity are also being hidden. Could it have been a foreign pilot being trained in the U.S.?
I ran across an article at Fox News referencing this interview with a man who actually heard the F-35 crash on Sunday afternoon. He didn’t call anyone to report it at the time.
I just heard a commentator say the worldwide grounding of jets--he said only jets were grounded, but I don't know if that included turboprops--was due either to a foreign entity being able to hack and take over the flight controls, or a "Woke" military that has become so incompetent that it can no longer fly the high tech weapons they are given. I would tend to assume the first simply because it was a Marine aircraft involved and the Marines are the least Woke of the services. "Wokeism" for the most part was forced upon the Marines by the Obama Administration. According to my granddaughter, who is in the Marines, the women Marines are still held to different standards than the men, particularly the physical aspects of things. According to her, the U.S. Marines refused to lower the requirements for the men even though Obama forced combat roles upon the the women. F-22s are still reputed to be the most secret of our fighter aircraft, and, and, last I heard, have not been sold or exported. I am sure Biden will find a way to sell that technology to our enemies for a few million as well.
A few days ago there was a list of countries Americans were not supposed to go. Maybe because Biden paid Iran their frozen money for return of the hostages? So we don't want new hostages stored up?
Iran can seize oil tankers in the Gulf and surrounding waters and make the crews hostage, and there is little the U.S. will do about it other than pay ransom to get them back and continue the cycle. Iran then takes the money and uses it to build weapons and drones, and promote anti-American and anti-Israel terror. It looks like the world is about to blow up, and they (the Establishment) expect to be able to control the election--or cancel it--next year in the ensuing chaos. We'll see....
