I used to like this one from the 60s:

"Don't trust Cops? Next time you're in trouble, call a Hippy."

Listen to your elder’s advice. Not because they are always right but because they have more experience at being wrong.

    That was before.

    These days we're 20# heavier.

Speak for yourself; I've lost 6 pounds during the lock down. (Not sure how that occurred, hah.)

Back when I did a lot of bicycle riding (even commuted to work on it), I was eating a 2# cheesecake a week...all by myself.

I gotta be grateful that I had years of living like that...sadly those days are over.

My weight had plateaued for years and years. Then over a 2 week period I put on 15# for no apparent reason or cause (this is before COVID.) I've yet to take it off. It's added to my lethargy.

There is no time like the present!

Yeh, I know, but I'll still do it, maybe, tomorrow. :)

Weight? After my cancer operation when the nausea was there every day, I went from 210 lbs. down to 110.I got dizzy when I stood up and passed out cold several times, once striking my mouth on the tub and bleeding all over the floor. I've rebounded to 140 after forcing myself to eat a little. I think I'm maintaining that weight mostly because of all the beer I drink. None of my medications help. I have no wise sayings, just my sad story. Sorry about that.
