Starting last night, if I use the "Home" button, I am prompted to log in to the forum even though I AM logged in. Here's a copy of the screen I get, showing the logon prompt and also showing me in the active users' list. :D I get hung in that screen unless I back out of it and use a different navigation button (other than "home").

I clicked on the home button which I normally don't use and nothing strange happened. You have an interesting layout. I seem to have the standard version.

I get that also, ever since I joined, even with the standard layout. I think it may have something to do with the home page not having the https: (secure) named link, and (for me at least) using Chrome.

It doesn't happen with IE or Edge. Maybe changing the security settings on Chrome would fix it, but I don't want to bother with that. So I just never click on home. :p

I never get that. I am always logged on. Of course I'm either on my i-Mac or my Android tablet.

I use the "Default" view for the forum, Thomas. The colors and layout are much more to my liking.

This started last night for me. I'm on Firefox and never log off, and usually I have no issue using the Home button. I logged off and on this morning to see if it would clear up but it didn't. I guess I'll try clearing my cache and dump some cookies.

From what is described, I can't tell you what might have gone wrong. It wouldn't have anything to do with http versus https because that is simply a matter of not buying a security certificate, given that we don't collect any sensitive information.

I use the SeniorsOnly.Club style and have rarely tried any of the others, although I do use other color options, but either style should work as well as another. I most always use the Home button or I just click on the SeniorsOnly Club logo at the top, which reloads the index (front) page of the site, and have never had any trouble. While I usually use Safari, I have logged in to the forum countleess number of times on several different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and several other odd ones), and they all seem to work about the same as another, as far as the forum display and operation goes.

Clearing the cache is always a good idea when you're faced with something that seems to have gone awry. I'm not discounting the problem, just that it doesn't sound like anything familiar to me.

All I know is early on I edited the URL to this site that I use for a bookmark, and added the "s" to "http" and everything worked fine after that.

Except....If I ever hit "home" accidentally, it tells me the site is not secure and I have to close all the windows open to the site and start over, otherwise I can't log in.

I have SoC bookmarked which brings me right to it and I am usually logged in for the day.

I too use the bookmark and simply click on that. If I happen to close my home page of Kadaza, then I have to log in to every site I generally stay logged onto. It's a security precaution, so I have to go through phone verifications when I log onto some sites. Others require email verifications.

I always use a bookmark but the issue occurs after I'm here. If I hit the "home" button it takes me to the login screen but I'm already logged in.

That is weird. Do you refresh and still get the log in screen?

Well, something has changed somewhere. Is it possible that there could be two windows open for SoC? That's the only thing that comes to mind. I've done that before. No, you said you logged off and then back on this morning.
