When I flew to Pennsylvania, I flew United because American Airlines was requiring vaccinations. I took Amtrak from Maryland to Boston, and Concord Coach Lines from Boston to Portland, Maine because, while we do have train service to Maine, Boston South does not connect to Boston North, so I would have had to take an Uber from one train station to the other, and it was easier just to take the bus. My wife made the arrangements, and she told me that both Amtrak and Concord Coach were requiring me to go to a window and answer Covid questions, despite the fact that I already had a boarding pass. According to their email, she said that I would not be allowed to board unless or until I did that. We even got into an argument about that over the phone. There was too long of a line at Amtrak so I skipped that step and no one cared about Covid questions. So, I skipped it again at Concord Coach, and no cared there either. I saw the same thing in the train stations and airports. Despite constant recorded announcements about the "federal law" requiring masks, there were people in both the airports and train stations without masks, and the transit cops ignored them. Most people wore masks, and everyone wore them while actually on the plane, train, or bus. On the ground, this crap wasn't being enforced so rigidly.
