Please don't start a new thread just to post a meme or a comic that you came across. There are several threads available for posting comics, memes, and the like. New threads should be made for topics that are likely to get replies, beyond LOLs and smilies. If every funny meme is in a thread of its own, no one will be able to find anything around here. Threads aren't for one-offs.

When it comes to books, I'm influenced by the cover illustration.

That is exactly why a thread should have a descriptive title, and not just some vague phrase or part of a sentence. When we see a title that catches our interest, it is like seeing a book with a picture on the cover that truly represents what the book is going to be about, and that is how a thread title should be, too.

Plus it makes more work for the staff, having to move posts around.
