If I had my way, the moderators would have to go under the same scrutiny as a juror prior to a criminal trial but even then, to find someone who is unbiased in their political beliefs would be extremely difficult at best. It is my contention that even those who insist that they are “undecided” are rarely mid bubble; they still lean one way or the other.
Super good point @Bobby Cole not that I don't have faith that there must be some unbiased folks, but most likely few and far between. Thanks, helped me out a lot this a.m., denise
Vance seems intelligent and well-spoken, if he can only avoid stepping on his on tongue with stuff like "childless cat lady" remarks for the MSM to focus on and blow out of proportion. Is it just me, or does Walz look a lot like WC Fields?
One of the contributors to the Guttfeld Show said that Walz looks like a baby that just got dressed up to go to a wedding.
This is because the mainstream media is owned and controlled by left-wing liberals, and also the big pharma, and none of those want Trump and Kennedy in office. Kennedy is passionate about cutting bad drug use and making Americans healthy again like we used to be before all the processed and junk foods. Since the debates are shown on national TV, they have to be held in the liberal media strongholds. However, there are a lot of good interviews which are being done by independent media, and people like Tucker Carlson, who do legitimate interviews. The X interview of Musk and Trump was the most watched interview ever, and the ones we see online have millions more people watching than the TV ones have. We can’t do much about the big pharma stranglehold on TV news, but we can choose to watch more of the non-biased news put out by other means, like X, YT, rumble, and other free media. (Free like not controlled)
I saw reports that Walz was booed when he made an appearance in Minnesota. I think some people threw tampons at him from a distance. Those may or may not have been residents of Minnesota however. If you give Minnesotans beer, mayonnaise and ketchup, they really don't seem to care what you do to them.
Yes, but we still can't watch a decent/fair debate. I absolutely will NOT watch any MSM even if I hear rumors they said something fair and good. I can't because buying new TV replacements for the ones I've thrown a dumbell through is getting expensive.
LOL, I hope there aren't any Minnesotans watching this thread Oh well, in my State we have beer-drinkers, mayonnaise lovers, and ketchup-on-everything types. I fit the last 2 things, but did love a beer, or 2, ok at least 3
It was something of a joke @Denise Evans but not completely. Did your state go for Mondale in 1984? I think Mondale promised a case of mayonnaise at every table, and that enabled him to carry Minnesota, the only state he carried in 1984. Even New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts voted for Reagan. When I moved to Minneapolis, I thought I would escape the heat since it was so far north. I was naïve then. Minneapolis didn't allow large trucks inside the city limits during daylight hours, so when the temperature soared over 100 F. for a week or two, the city ran out of beer and ice cream, as that was what Minnesotans did when it got hot. Good ol' Grain Belt was the beer of choice and it had to be so cold that ice formed for it to be palatable. Minnesotans could have gone to the numerous lakes in the city of Minneapolis, but thy preferred to stay in the air conditioning and drink beer and eat ice cream. The mayo and ketchup is just a standard joke of some of the surrounding states when referring to Minnesota.
Yeah, this "debate" is quite the biased hit job. Once again we have moderation taking one side of the debate and even breaking the ground rules about fact checking.
I think JD is doing well, particularly in the hostile territory of CBS. He stays on point without histrionics.
I'm so glad I forgot all about it and instead watched a movie called The Lost child a Hallmark I knew the debate would upset me I'll probably have to control myself hearing reports about it but I do appreciate the reports because I want to know truth.
