The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that Donald Trump cannot appear on the 2024 primary election ballot.

The Colorado Supreme Court is made up of 4 unelected Democrat justices.

No doubt this decision will be appealed to the US Supreme Court.

No need to vote anymore when we can just let the black robed tyrants do it for us.:mad::mad:

The Dems blew it when they didn't name Hillary as VP instead of nitwit. They could have "retired" Joe as mentally unfit and slid her right into the chair. I don't believe she would ever go up against Trump again.

Maybe this topic should have been a separate thread but I will just follow up on my own post here with a link to an article that addresses the U. S. Supreme Court’s possible response.

Yeah, sure, why not. Just remove someone who hasn't even been charged with insurrection, much less convicted, from the ballot. No problem.
Some idiot over on Fox wrote, "Well, many Southern states removed Lincoln from their ballot in 1860 and SCOTUS upheld it, so SCOTUS will have to uphold this, too." This is the level of idiocy we are dealing with, well, actually, it goes much lower than that. One way to stop this nonsense is for Red States to remove Biden from their ballots for failing to protect our borders. Can you imagine the riots over that?! Maybe another civil war is what it is going to take.

I think having him be written in and win would be awesome although people are so lazy or unknowing they may not do that.
He needs to have a special SHORT tv ad saying that option is available and how awesome it would be to win that way, just in case.

    Dunno. It’s crazy.
JFK was pretty much elected on looks, age and being a Roman Catholic.
Jimmy Carter was overwhelmingly backed by Christians.
Gavin Newsom is a good looking guy, is younger and has some political experience. I mean, the ladies on The View stated that they would vote for him on looks alone never thinking about how California in general is going down the tubes because of him.

No matter who the Dems or Reps put on the line, the one thing I am hovering over is the threat to abolish the Electoral College before the ‘24 election.
The Dems, forever believing that the United States is a Democracy especially after the 2016 election, want the popular vote to determine who sits in the catbird seat which, in that respect, basically tears up the Constitution of the United States.

The other day I heard an interview with Bill and Hillary in which Bill said that since the south held slaves that the south shouldn’t have the power of the electoral vote to determine who should be the President.
Yeah, I know. It went WAY over my head too but the bottom line is that if the powers that be are successful in abolishing the Electoral College then the Dems could put Fetterman or Oprah in as candidates and win on majority votes in high population cities like New York and San Francisco.

If everything is left alone then my guess is that Kennedy Jr. will grab quite a few independent votes giving an edge to the Reds.
    If Biden runs, he’ll lose.
If Newsom runs, it’s a toss up unless he’s running against Trump then Trump will win.
If Trump is unable to run and Ramaswamy grabs the reins, they’ll toss a coin to see if Newsom or Ramaswamy takes the nod.
Actually, I think Ramaswamy will take it by a small margin.

Any Republican over any Democrat for me. Getting into specifics, I would love to see Trump get in and kick some payback ass. Biden wants another go but this impeachment inquiry will eventually shut him down. Actually, I think the Dems would like to see him gone because his pole numbers suck and may be facilitating it behind the scenes in congress. If and when the Republicans take over they should pass legislation to prevent what's happening to Trump from ever happening again.

Yeah, but that's the problem. Even when they have the majority, they are so busy back-biting that they DO NOTHING. Just like the beginning of Trump's first term.

The Colorado Supreme Court taking Trump off the primary ballot. Four unelected Democrat judges used the 14th amendment--which does not apply to the Presidency. They apparently were so uninformed, they didn't read the very amendment they used. There are now plans afoot to perhaps remove Biden from a number of state's ballots using the same standard since there is now evidence that Biden accepted bribes from China. Colorado's 10 electoral votes against Texas or Florida??

I need to correct something I said in post 18. There are 7 judges on the Colorado Supreme Court and all 7 are Democrats. The vote on Trump was 4 to 3. Surprisingly 3 Democrats voted against removing him. One of them wrote the dissent saying the decision undermines the electoral process. It’s posted on Fox News.

The Colorado GOP has said it will drop out of the primary process and return to caucuses if this ruling is upheld.

I don’t want to remove Biden that way either. Let the people vote, do away with voting by mail and electronic voting machines.

I would support hanging anyone who cheats, along with these justices, in the middle of Main Street.

Allow me to correct that for you. "Some crazies in Texas are talking about secession... again."

These are authoritarian movements, trying to force people to do things against our personal choices
especially the last three years, taking away people's jobs and ability to travel, punishing people for saying and thinking
in independent ways, tampering with the vote counting process, and now removing people's right to vote for the candidates of our choice.
