@Chrissy Page her rationale for giving the guy chunks of money was so lame. A friend was watching with me and we were shaking our heads. Just....wow.
Also in the story I posted I think she was trying to buy romance/love. Sad, but she should have known it doesn't work that way. Epilogue...she went with the reporter to the man's home but he refused to open the door. Big surprise.
Oh man, that's just bizarre. Some women, as well as men though, are so insecure, or desperate to be loved they will do something like that. It's sad, but yes, it's hard not to want to just slap some sense into someone that doesn't think more of themselves. People get beaten down though sometimes by terrible things happening in their lives, who knows
In our local newspaper the cops were warning people about the scam of people calling older folks and telling them that they were related like as in a grandson that had been in a accident or gotten arrested and needed money. A local couple were taken for $4000 dollars. I think I would call family members or the police first before sending large amounts money to someone who claims to be related and in need of cash.
This thread frightens me! I shall remain alone, given the loss for whatever reason, of my wife..... Frank
It takes all kinds in the world...no matter onlilne or anywhere you just got to watch your step. There is evil in this world so be careful anywhere.
