We spent a lot of one day in the National Palace while we were in Mexico City, it's an amazing building with of course the amazing murals by Diego Rivera adorning the entrance hallway, there is also an extensive museum and gardens, we were enchanted by the place ................ here are some photos.... The National Palace (Spanish: Palacio Nacional) is the seat of the federal executive in Mexico. It is located on Mexico City's main square, the Plaza de la Constitución (El Zócalo). This site has been a palace for the ruling class of Mexico since the Aztec empire, and much of the current palace's building materials are from the original one that belonged to Moctezuma II. Here is a video of Lisa swimming in one of the many Cenotes in the Yucatan, the water is very warm, but I don't swim so I wasn't tempted this was one of two about 5 miles along a dirt track, but amazingly there are new toilets in a brick hut there, which were spotless as are all public toilets/bathrooms we have come across in Mexico.
