Ooooh @Babs Hunt , that's a really pretty house I love the bathroom especially, with it's own little dressing table and chair as well

There is an aura of peace and love when you walk in that Home Holly and I know my daughter and her family will be happy in the new Home God has definitely blessed them with. :)

It's done! My daughter and her husband are officially Home Owners once again. They signed the papers and received the keys to their new Home at 8am this morning. That's the good news.

The bad news is all there furniture is in a warehouse in Houston, Texas where Hurricane Harvey is headed. And the Movers said they do not cover flood damage if their warehouse gets flooded! We definitely need a miracle to keep that warehouse high and dry.

Might their homeowners insurance cover their furniture even if it is not in their home ? I am also praying for your family that they can get moved and that their furniture will also be safe. I suppose with the hurricane coming in, there is no chance of getting it moved out of there now until after the storm is gone.

I really don't know the answer to that Yvonne. The Movers are supposed to load up the Van (from the warehouse in Houston) today and be here tomorrow Morning (Sunday) and we're all praying that Harvey's rain will lull during that time so they can get their things here. Thanks for your prayers Yvonne.

This is a professional Large Corporation Moving Company. They knew Hurricane Harvey was coming but would not send extra employees out to move my daughter's things out before the worst hit. We are very disappointed in this but hope their warehouse stays high and dry until things can be moved. And we definitely pray everyone will stay safe.

From what my daughter told me yesterday, if it is not possible to load and bring their things tomorrow morning, they will try again this coming Wednesday. Right now we are just praying that the warehouse will not flood.

Papaw has been a big help with our youngest grandson while Granny helps with getting things in place in our daughter's family's new home. :)

Heading back to my daughter's this morning to help do some more unpacking and organizing. She will come pick me up in a little while. For some reason this move back to Louisiana has had more than it's share of twists and turns along the way. But we are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

Yesterday my husband was able to go with our Son-in-Law and take all their empty moving boxes to the store my husband works at and use the compacter over there to flatten those boxes and bale them up to be recycled. This was a big help and the store will make a little money off recycling them. So everyone is happy. :)

This week we should be able to finish "moving" and this coming weekend we are having a barbecue and multi-person Birthday party at my daughter's new home. We will be celebrating their move back here, their new home, and the Birthdays of my husband, one of my daughter's, a belated birthday for our 3 year old granddaughter, and the 1st Birthday of our grandson. I'm really looking forward to having a Family get together and hopefully being able to get some good pictures taken too. :)

It's wonderful having us all back in the same City once again and I am thankful we have been blessed in this.

Our grandson is loving his new home and since turning 1 and mastering walking the only time he stays still is when he lets you rock him to sleep for nap time.

His newest thing is climbing. He loves climbing and of course we never know what he is going to try and climb on so he is racking up his share of bumps and bruises lately. He loves to climb up on his sister's trundle bed but does not know how to climb back down...so he will just throw himself off her bed if we are not there to catch him. Of course we keep the door to her bedroom closed now. But that only helps a little because each day he is discovering something new that he can climb on. :) He also likes to open up cabinets and climb into them. His mom did this too and I always left one cabinet empty that was her climbing in and out of cabinet in the kitchen.

Our little boy is smart and it doesn't take him long to figure out things and we are working on getting him some safe climbing things to put in his toy room. I put his crib mattress on the floor in the corner of his toy room and then place the rubber matting along the wall behind and on the sides of the mattress. The rubber matting also covers most of the floor at this time. The minute he goes in the toy room he heads to that mattress, climbs up on it...jumps up and down a little and then sits down and plays with a few of the toys I placed there for him.

Jumping up and down on the big beds is also something he loves...just like his sister. So this weekend his dad will be getting the small trampoline with safety netting and a round safety bar to hold on to while jumping and will put that together in his toy room. He will be able to climb in and out of that and jump to his heart's content. :)

At 66 it is not so easy to keep up with him....but I wouldn't miss these days for anything! :)

He's so cute! I love them at that age but I'm kind of glad I don't have any that young to watch anymore...it's too hard if you're doing it 24/7....plus scary because they're into everything and getting bumps and bruises and I don't want that happening on my watch so I can't relax for even a minute. :)

I do wish I had a baby to hold though...seeing pics of my niece's little girl who is 7 weeks old make me jealous of my sister who's first grandchild that is. :)

But, I can barely move my left arm now so it's better that there are no babies in my life at the moment.

I could never watch him 24/7 either anymore but I do love having a few hours with him and his sister just about when ever I want now that they are basically just down the street from me. :)

I hope you will get to hold your niece's baby Chrissy. When does that physical theraphy start to help your arm?

I had my evaluation on Tuesday and now I'm just waiting for insurance to say they'll pay for it.

She measured my arm movements with angles and it wasn't good ...she said she's sure insurance will cover it...hope so!
