It sounds like something that Medicare would pay for, @Chrissy Cross . I sure hope that it helps when they send you to physical therapy, and I think that this will improve movement for you. I know that it really helped my knee. Once they gave me the cortisone shot, and i could actually bend the knee a little, I started doing the knee exercises, and when the cortisone eventually wore off, my knee was doing much better. It is just that when you are in so much pain, then you can’t move the arm/leg to give it the therapy that it needs.
@Babs Hunt , it sure looks like your daughter is enjoying her new home, and it is a real blessing that you can now visit and not have to travel so far to see them, or spend so many hours watching grandchildren.

All these referrals and then checking insurance coverage takes so darn long. Then when all is approved you go to book an appt and then the only time they have available is in two weeks!!

I'm getting my mammogram that I made an appt for in early August on Nov. 8th!!

They are really happy withe their new home Yvonne. And yes it is a blessing that I can now just get in my car and drive straight to her home in about 5 minutes. It is also wonderful that I can see all of them just about anytime I want to but still sleep in my own bed at night. :)

Well it could if you move in with your daughter. Or decide to go live real close to your son. :)

Moving in with my daughter now is kind of late in the Grandma game...oldest is in college and the next one starts HS next year...not even close to being babies anymore.

And moving near my son would be difficult...he's so far away...and my daughter would have a fit. :)

ooooh @Babs Hunt how cute is you're grandson.... he is the last word in cute!! I can't believe your gorgeous baby grand-daughter is 3 years old already... I still remember so well that stunning photo of her in the mirror.. I think it was simply the prettiest photo of a baby I'd ever seen..

Our granddaughter who is 3 now is also changing really fast since her family has moved into their new home. She now goes to "big girl" school 2 mornings a week. 21397744_10154649526226207_948814147_n.jpg
This has been a work in progress for her as she wanted to go but once she got there would not participate in what was going on. She is like her Granny Babs who likes to process things beore she decides whether she likes something and wants to be a part of it. Each week she has participated more and more and now has made a best friend too. :)

She also takes a Ballet class once a week. And had to process her way into that too. But now she is asking her Mom to put her hair in the ballet bun. :)

She loves her new home and told her Mom she wants to live there forever...here she is making herself right at home in her new home. :)

Since turning 3 she has taken some major growth leaps. Now she plays Beauty Shop with her Mom and they fix each other's hair. She puts her own bows in her hair for school, etc. now too. She is really "helping" her Mom around the house now by putting her things away when she is finished playing with them, etc. and dressing herself (with a little help), even being more caring towards her baby brother and helping with him sometimes too. :)

She loves living in the same City with her Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts, Cousins, etc. and was thrilled that her youngest girl cousin got to spend a weekend with her. :)

It's so good to have all my daughters and their families HOME again. :)

But your son's kids are younger, aren't they. And you haven't had a chance to really spend a lot of time with them so if your heart had a desire to go be with them there's really nothing to stop you from doing this...if you wanted to.

They don't have the room for me in their house so I'd have to find a place to live, move my stuff to Illinois etc...my car etc...even the smaller move near my daughter is overwhelming.

If I won lotto, I'd but a house next to my daughter and one next to my son.

I definitely agree that making that kind of change would take a lot of decision making, etc. And before making a permanent decision like that I would rent a place over there and try it out for up to a year. Because it might not work out and then you would be stuck over there if you had sold your house, etc.
