Oh thanks Patsy!! A suggestion will really help me Did they make mysteries back then? I would love to find some of that type too! I like the dramas and I might end up enjoying the comedies as well! Thank you so much. I've heard that name before btw denise
This is so great! I am so excited over silent movies now! I'll have to watch the one about the guy falling out the window, I've always had a sick sense of humor, LOL!! Thanks, all of you!! denise PS keep them coming! I'm thinking Youtube may have some, and TCM has them once in awhile
I will Patsy, I'll watch it today, plenty of time, did a ton of errands yesterday so today I kick back, read, watch some shows, and play my new Hidden Frog game.
Since I like black and white movies,it follows that I would like Silent Movies. Some have stood the test of time. 'A Trip to the Moon' - 1902 is a fun one to watch. 'Metropolis' - 1927 is great vision of the future. And my personal favorite, 'Nosferatu' - 1922 this one can still scare. To me, silent movies are like the old radio programs. I can listen to a series of 'Sam Spade' and picture San Francisco in the 20's. Watching a silent movie, I marvel at how they use facial expressions to move the flow of the story.
Wonderful Tim, some more titles for us I actually saw that Nosferatu advertised on my Netflix but never watched it. Also, I need to get hold of some of those old radio programs, how great that would be to listen to some of those as well
