I was never a risk taker as far as sports. Starting at 18 I hitchhiked through about 45 states with little or no money in my pocket and crisscrossed the country several times. You never know who you'll run into on the road. In my twenties I guess I took some risky drugs too often. Also, I went for women who, in retrospect, were not good for me. By the time I was 30 most of that was behind me. At 68 I'm not a risk taker at all. Except for too much coffee, beer and cigarettes.
I wouldn't call myself a risk-taker. I think more like Nancy as far as that goes. I think it's an intuition thing for me though. If it feels right in my gut I just might give it a try, otherwise, Ummm nope.
