Sorry Patsy,..I don't like tattos either, especially someone completely covered in them, but regardless of whether a person has a lot of tattoos or just one, to refer to that person as having Satan in them judging by simply having drawings on them is an absolute step too far!!
I definitely think this body art stuff is taken to the extreme sometimes but there are many young people today that really are going for this kind of stuff. I feel sorry that years from now when they are not in this phase of life anymore...they won't find it easy to erase this extremism from their bodies. And when it is taken to the extreme like in the picture Frank posted and I'm sharing once again I have to admit that this guy could be the nicest, kindest, person on earth...but I don't know if I could stay around him long enough to find out that.
Yes, I meant the word Satan. First of all Holly, doubt your daughter looks like the guy in Frank's post and he stated how he felt about the photo of this disgusting looking dude. To some Christians, this guys appearance would be totally awful and really Satanic looking. Our great niece, in the Army, has had a couple of tattoo's put on her arms and her grandma, my wife's sister, thinks it's gross. Other than her, nobody in the family has tats and nobody wants them or any body piercings. Your daughter loves tattoos and that doesn't bother you. That's entirely up to you, but don't criticize those that don't like them and think that the way the dude looks that Frank put on could be Satan looking. Bottom Line, it's an ugly look.....to some anyway. And, BTW, everyone judges people and things. There are plenty of Threads and postings on these Senior forums showing just that.
Hope Holly reads this also. This is about "judging" someone, just like a lot of us do. Some may not want to admit they judge, but they sure do!
Cody there you go getting things wrong again. If you'd read my post to patsy you would have seen that I said I'm not a fan of tattoos either..nor did I say it doesn't bother me that my daughter has them. I'd much rather she didn't have them simply because I don't think it's necessary for people to draw permanently on their skin ..but everyone to their own where that's concerned...but my argument with you is your comment with regard to it being satanic..that's not only ignorant, it's completely wrong!! ..and incidentally, yes we all judge things in many ways on here, but to accuse a stranger of having Satan in their soul when you don't know them, as in the guy in the picture, is completely abhorrent and unchristian!!
Sorry for getting part of my posting wrong (about you), but we are all entitled to our opinions. Even Babs acknowledged that about me/what she said. Actually, I now want to see you criticize others on here who don't like the look......and there are others. Just read some of the postings from other members concerning the photo! Don't pick on me when others have stated similar things. Or, perhaps you don't want to read what they think. Tattoos get a bad name because so much crime is done by people who have a lot of them. Heck, there is even a tv show here in the U.S. that show men and women in prison covered with them. The old military type tattoos were one thing, but the younger generation has gone waaay beyond that. Sort of funny, but numerous tattoos seem to be a part of carnaval jobs.

@Ike Willis The source of it, I believe, is millions of young adults who have been gradually stripped of their self-respective rights, to the point that "Politically Correct" became imperative. This has been generated over decades, by official, but largely unstated, government mandate. Began in the Institution of schools, not higher-learning, but children being brainwashed in school. @Holly Saunders When I voiced similar opinion to yours in SF awhile back, along with criticism of specific images, I got lambasted to the extreme for disallowing those poor creatures to exercise their individual "rights". I shot back with how about their right to violate their bodies by ingesting hard drugs, PC'ers got even angrier, stating the vast difference between the two extremes of personal behavior. I told them they were hypocrites. Then I left the forum, "banned for life". I hope that turns out to be "life of the forum"............ Frank
You won't see me criticize the people on here because they dislike the look of the video Cody, because that's not what I'm annoyed about...I'm annoyed at you saying people with Tattoos have Satan in them. You..no-one else said it ...only You.. if others had said the same I would be taking them to task as well, but they didn't. Just accept that you made a comment that was un-christian and untrue...
