Obviously, I don't agree with his political stands but I hope he has a quick recovery.

I suppose that will end his campaign for president. With Joe Biden pretty much out of it, will Elizabeth Warren be the Democratic candidate?

I don't know, Bess. I don't think there's much age difference with him and Biden.

It looks like he is about a year older than Biden, so not a whole lot of age difference between the two of them.
I think that Biden had brain surgery, although it was some years back, and that might be causing some of his memory issues when he is campaigning.
It seems that neither one of them are in really good health, and I would not be surprised if the Democrats don’t end up choosing one of the younger candidates before this presidential run is over.

Looks like recent polls show Warren is out in front of the pack right now, so who knows. I hope Bernie makes a full recovery.

I've heard that Wall Street has said that if Fauxcahontas is the Dem nominee they will not give to Dems.

That should prove to be interesting. Without Wall Street money, can the Democrats raise enough money to run a campaign? They don't seem to be doing too well with donations so far.

I didn't respond to this thread yesterday because @Beth Gallagher had started one on the same topic. I assumed they would be merged and I didn't want to post the same thing twice. Anyway, I think he is too old for a job as stressful as one of the most powerful men on the planet. All presidents did quite a bit of aging during their 4 / 8 years. I don't even think campaigning is good for him, especially now. Like you, this thought has nothing to do with my difference of opinion regarding his politics.

    I’m still waiting.
Bernie, Biden and the rest are simply setting the stage for a DNC “super” candidate hidden somewhere in the el’s.

I really, really believe that the democratic debates are acting as a control group whereby all the platforms can be polled, analyzed and then the parts that will influence the voters most in a positive way will be presented by whomever the DNC is grooming.
Between Bernies super socialistic views including paying off student loans to Biden’s gun control initiatives to whatever the rest have nailed to their platforms, I believe it’s all a test module meant to feel out the voter base.

Thus far, it’s pretty obvious (or at least to me it is) that there is no one on the Democratic candidate list that can come close to beating the current President, D. Trump.
The DNC has GOT to have someone better that they’re grooming for the job.

The DNC has quite a few younger candidates. If they want to get more younger votes, or someone who won't die in office, it will probably be their best bet. I don't know if they are cohesive enough as a political party to groom anyone. It's like an odd feeding frenzy among them. Of course, we had that within the GOP, with less energy :D, until Trump wiped them all out. It's not as though the GOP wanted him at all.

As @Bess Barber wrote, “it could happen” but my bet is more along the line of a Soros pick, “Abdul-El-Sayed”.
Whilst I was talking to my wife about my last post, she immediately started asking about the Muslim from Michigan and after thinking only a moment about it, yep, that would be the next hope and change guy.

He’s extremely well educated, has Soros’s billions behind him and could well be much more of a challenge for D. Trump than the newly formed socialist pack that we have been watching. He’s going to be a puppet and he’ll have every vote swaying nail in a conglomeration of popular planks that all the DNC present runners of the presidency are using for their platforms.
AND, if he hints at having a female vice-president such as Warren or even Hillary, it’s going to be brutal.

Nothing is going to be left of the present DNC lineup but a couple of promises he’ll probably use like Bernies college tuition program, Biden’s gun control and Beto’s open borders initiative.

Unless I miss my best guess, I’ll give it till around Christmas time or shortly thereafter for all of Hades to break loose.

Which "muslim from Michigan" are you referring to? My mind went immediately to that creepy Rashida Tlaib, but she's female. Of course she's too busy selling her "Impeach the MFer" t-shirts to run for president.
