So do you save toilet paper, or do you think you use the same amount as before to dry yourself off?

    Interesting.

I may have mentioned that there are lots of bidets on Amazon that have tens of thousands of reviews. You got me thinking...

So very economical et al, but then, using toilet paper defeats the purpose, why not install a dryer!!

A small terrycloth towel works better.

And this is where I wonder about the benefit. I would not reuse that towel, so instead of using toilet paper, I'm doing a lot more laundry. This not only takes time & effort, but doing all that extra laundry far offsets the environmental benefit of not using toilet paper. The gap widens exponentially with women in the household.

    Again, I'm likely missing something.

Now that my toilet seat has been raised 5 inches I have no use for the bidet.

That reminds me of once finding a detachable bidet in a truck stop in Iowa. I mean, it was completely installed and worked, but was an unexpected thing to find in a truck stop.

That's weird. It's sort of anachronistic, but in a cultural sense.

I wondered about that when you bought the riser.

Hey, at least you can say you had the experience.
