Bloody cats. Kill so much of our urban wildlife.

 

I love all my birds but this happy little fellow may just be my favorite. He comes under the carport and sings me the most happy song. He flicks his tail as he sings as if to say, "Hello! Thanks for the food."

Apparently if you come face to face with a cassowary it pays to go the other way ,they have been known to attack humans with their dagger like claw ,don’t know if anyone has been killed by them I’ve seen them up close in a bird sanctuary in a place called Kuranda https://www.birdworldkuranda.com/info.html

I had an indigo bunting at my feeder today. I have never seen one at the feeder until today. I have seen them at the edge of the field but not at the feeder. needless to say, I'm all adither.
