    This is my happy little wren singing me his happy little song. I can't get a good picture of him under the carport because the light is behind him. So I covered the camera lens.

    Just some info 4 You bird watches out there. Don't know if this was ever mentioned, the Cornell lab of ornithology has a bird identifying program. It identifies the bird by it's song. All you do his record the singing bird and it will tell you what bird it is its habitat, food it likes, whole lot of stuff. The name of the program is "BirdNET".

    @Shirley Martin

    The Cactus Wren makes it's nest in a borrowed-out hollow withing usually a giant Saguaro Cactus, occasionally among the parts of other cactus.

    We have seen them peeking out from within.

    I'm glad you posted that @Tony Page . There is a bird at the river that I often hear sing but he is elusive. I have never been able to spot him. I have wondered many times what kind of bird he is. Now I can record his song and find out!

    I actually identified a song Sparrow which I took for a regular Sparrow. Whenever I come across a new bird I get excited you think I found a treasure.
