Yvonne we spent a fortune moving here. I do not see us moving, aside from one of us passing, then the other may move back to Texas. I feel I guess better. Going to give a day or two for the med to kick in again I hate this one med as it makes me almost i mobile. Clinic just called now they want me to come in and see the traveling doctor instead of waiting for the one damn doctor they do have to return. I appreciate their concern and I will go, but I am not allowing any more changes to my meds- for now at leat!

Yesterday what I thought was a sinus headache, turned out to be migraine.Sick. sick all day. Was a horrible experience I have not encountered since 1979! I feel like I am falling apart at the seams- everyday -it seems like ,something new to deal with. :( Feel much better today and hope to remain quiet most of the day. :)

Man, @Hedi Mitchell I hate that you are suffering so. I don't know what part of Kansas you are in, but Kansas City has some good doctors if you are near the state line into Missouri. I can't speak directly as I have no experience there...just repute. Could the migraine have been triggered by the change in meds or do you sometimes have them anyway?

@Don Alaska - I do not get headaches so having the migraine was a shock..and yes I think it was brought on by a medicine I was taking from another doctor. We live in SW Kansas and doctors less than limited here. Everyone travels mainly an hour to 4.5 hours for doctors. Kansas City Mo. is 5.5 hours from Us. But thank you so much Don for your input and caring.

Contact your provider about the headache, especially if they recur. Meds may be switched to avoid that awful side effect.

I hate those chemical stress tests, too, @Hedi Mitchell ! If you have never had one before, be prepared to feel like you are about to pass out. This apparently does not always happen (I have had several over the years), but sometimes it does, and it is scary when you feel everything starting to go numb and you think you are about to black out.
It might depend on a person’s health at the time of the test, because some of mine have not done that to me, but they still made me weak and dizzy.
Sending prayers for good test results and that the doctors can find out what is causing the problems. HUGS !

I have had a chemical stress test and had no side effects whatever. I had the old fashioned "run on the treadmill" type and found it tough, plus it yielded a false result. They had injected a nucleotide as they were convinced I had had an infarct. The test showed (to them) that half my heart was dead, but when evaluated by a real professional, he said it was a common artifact and there was nothing wrong at all with my heart.

The cardiologist who ran my latest chemical stress test was disappointed that it showed my heart was fine without even any narrowing. He wanted something to give me a drug for but had no excuse now

I survived the stress test but barely. Before inserting the radioactive whatever the alarm on monitor was going off @200/76/118!
Next thing I know 2 paramedic looking people came in listened to heart, was good. Seemed like eternity but once BP was 195/76/115 I injected the stuff.
After a wait I regain some composure was down to 185/75/105. Freaked me out and I hv been useless rest of the day.
Once we left and I got to eat and hv coffee and meds I felt normal.
Please spare any horror stories as my heart apparently is very impressive. Just saying I pulled thru it all. Echo gram was done also. Not sure when I get results, but fear the outcome some. :(

Man, @Hedi Mitchell it sounds like you had a horrible experience! I hope you get some good data, but somebody knowledgeable should look into why your BP and pulse spiked (I assume you don't get that kind of reaction normally).

@Don Alaska - thank you Don. Never had paramedics called in that's for sure. Then again things here are done differently so maybe normal procedure for here. I just want to going about my dailey duties, without fear of stroke.

Emotional stress will raise your blood pressure too, especially in the situation and environment you were in. At home and relaxing, your BP may be closer to what's desired.

So many factors AFFECT blood pressure. I've had a lot years working on this issue and I do take 2 meds..>BUT Heidi ---meditation, breief silent kind can do wonders, get addicted I don't see you mention thjs....Read up on High BP and Meditation/// Changing the WIRING in the brain can do wonders......

Allopathic docs wear a stupid faCE when a patient brings up alt solutions, doc are so brainwashed by Western Med.....and MOST are closed minded. I'm dealing with a doc now of that ILK and I'm stuck with her...

My hubby's blood pressure goes through the roof just by going to the doctor, let alone if there is something to fear there. We take our blood pressure at home and it is never as high as at the doctor.
Watch the end section of this video if the first is not to your liking.
