I guess my wife didn't trust my expertise, or perhaps because I keep whining about my toe, because she brought it up to my doctor, who is also her doctor, and she told her that they would just tape it to the next toe anyhow. Yes, it's always fun to be right.
I had a similar tail when I was on my boat in the Bahamas I dropped a conch shell on my foot causing a big deep gash and we were miles away from any medical. I held it together and put on crazy glue and in a few days it was healed. My wife when taking to the doctor later told him while laughing and he told her that this is now being done. It healed so well it is hard to find the scare.
