    I learned to swim in a galvanized stock tank at age 4. I was never a great swimmer with the crawl stroke but had a good breaststroke and backstroke. My favorite thing was diving. I don't swim anymore because, with vestibular nerve loss, underwater becomes confusing and a sure recipe for drowning.
