Good stuff Terence. One point I'd like to debate with you tho you pinko;). I see Sco Mo as brave, not "putting his foot in it", by bringing up the reason for the origins of Covid. Did we see anyone else,Trump, Macron, Merkel or Johnson putting their hand up. NO.

Agree only give em $19.99 for the return of Darwin Port's lease but am hearing the compensation bill will run into the millions and guess who will pay? We also need to tear up the deed that gives a Chinese company 50% control over the Port of Newcastle in NSW, the world's largest coal port plus get them to dismantle the runway they have built in the West Australian desert, supposedly to service their mining interests.

Are we all aware that Italy has a Belt & Road deal with China. Letting down the West and it is a member of the G7.

You are more sensible than that @Shirley Martin. China also has nukes as does the West's other enemies Russia and North Korea.. any tit for tat and goodbye Earth. Neither super power wants that.. nor Putin or Kim Jong IL.. despite his childish blusterings. I believe it is inevitable we will have a war in the next half century but it will be a conventional one not nuke as the US and China have not spent many billions on infrastructure to have it turned to dust in a heartbeat.

Beijing has announced it is indefinitely suspending all activities under the China-Australia Strategic Economic Dialogue.

No doubt over our Federal Government tearing up two Belt and Road agreements between the CCP and Victoria State.

What a joke as those Commies have been less backward than forward over trade well before this year when they clammed up completely after we gave em one between the eyes by daring to suggest looking into the reasons for the Covid pandemic's origins. What will Ji Ping and his CCP cohorts do when we tear up the leases for the Darwin and Newcastle ports. Morrison is only waiting on intel from our Defence people before that happens. While we are at it lets scrap the 50% interest China has in one of the world's largest cotton farms.. Cobbie.. plus the stake it has in our largest cattle station.. Kidman & Co. Do any of our allies intend doing the same with their own Chinese-owned infrastructure assets?

China Buying U.S. Land: How Much Land Does China Own in the U.S.?
China owned 191,000 acres worth $1.9 billion as of 2019. This might not sound like a lot, but Chinese ownership of American farmland has exploded dramatically over the last decade. Indeed, there has been a tenfold expansion of Chinese ownership of farmland in the United States in less than a decade.

Massive Chinese investment in American farmland is troubling for one very obvious reason: It puts the food security of the nation in the hands of a hostile foreign power. But there is also the social cost of allowing foreign buyers who have effectively unlimited resources to compete on the real estate market with smaller domestic buyers.

In 2020 GH America Investment Group purchased over 130,000 acres of property in Val Verde County, Texas. GH America is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Xinjiang-based Guanghui Industry Investment Group. Xinjiang is notorious for its so-called ‘re-education’ camps, where China detains Uighur Muslims and other ethnic minorities against their will and violates their human rights,” says retired CIA station chief Daniel Hoffman. He sees the potential for Chinese espionage against the U.S. from within our own country. “I will loudly ring alarm bells about the threats to our national security from GH America and its Chinese Communist Party overlords. Sun Guangxin, the founder and director of Xinjiang Guanghui Industry Investment Group, served in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and was the vice chairman of the Xinjiang Provincial Youth Federation. Having long maintained a close relationship with China’s Communist Party leadership."

Are they still buying your iron ore?
We will invent new ways to wage war. We will find new ways to wage war. Some already have with this silent energy.
Before we get serious and nuke each other, we will find new means of waging conflict with eath other

It is all very sad that the Chinese are using the funds we pump into their country to purchase ours.

Our "Liberty Bell" is housed in a facility owned by the United Nations, so we've become a pretty complacent lot these days.

Yes they are still buying our hi grade iron ore and despite 18 coal laden ships lying off China coast they are still buying our hi grade thermal coal. We need to refuse to sell them either commodity which they have said on record is the best and that they need it.. instead find markets among our western allies. In fact all of us need to ignore China. Let em fend for themselves and kick em hard where it hurts.. the economy..

Not much market for coal especially among the western nations. They are too busy committing "Climate Suicide". They are wanting China to kill them off instead. Perhaps India would be a good market for you.

China is exempt from the Climate warming treaty but is now the number one polluter and CO2 producer. The only thing in the news is the west needs to cut down. What a big scam straight out of China

China and India are both exempt and are the primary polluters on the planet, although Japan does its share, as does Taiwan. Ironic, huh? We cut down on pollution and are worried about being "carbon neutral." China has no such worry and laughs at us all the way to the bank.

China has been punishing my Australia economically as we call them out for their horrible behaviours.

Thank you USA for supporting us from these petty ignorant childlike bullies.

It's much appreciated and we stand by you through thick and thin. We haven't forgotten the sacrifices you made for us and New Zealand throughout WWII.

Thank you USA for currently speaking strongly on our behalf re the purile and immoral sanctions China has imposed on my Australia, for calling them out on so many issues. They are bullies with a petulant mentality. They are cruel children.
If there's a war, be assured my Australia has your back.
Thanks for speaking up for us too just recently. Another hundred F35's would help put the Chinese on the back foot, and many more smart missiles for us, Japan, South Korea, India...., and even Taiwan.
I reckon Taiwan will be the spark for war if China invades them.
The almost daily Chinese flights over Taiwan are deliberately provocative and Taiwan has recently said they might missile strike Chinese Drones. Sounds fair to me.
    Bugger the one China policy!

Sorry for the repeat. Thought I'd lost the previous post.

I think the plan is to get the U.S. bogged down in another Mideast war, then go for Taiwan. It is possible they might even go for the Philippines.
