    This and the above song is by Florinstreetband which is fronted by the British singer songwriter Leigh Haggerwood... who wanted to make traditional Christmas music that was no longer being made , and he sunk every penny of his savings to make these videos.. and they are quite simply divine, particularly the following one . You will find a better experience by doing a full screen to watch it...

    Oh the wombles were a a group put together by songwriter/conductor and musician Mike Batt., here in the UK... from the children Book series by Elizabeth Beresford


    They were a a big hit for kids in the 70's or 80's... and are still remembered with great affection to this day... there was also a TV series of cartoon adventures and of course all sorts of merchandise were made to be sold for children of each individual womble

    They were called the Wombles of Wimbledon Common ( an area in London).. and were first used to help promote litter picking in the London area.. and released quite a few songs for the Uk charts..
