Kids have too much control today, that's why most of them are " out of control".
I watched a great movie, ' In Gramps Shoes' that relates to this yesterday afternoon.
I put it up in Movies thread.

    OK, this is interesting
The Panama Canal is having trouble with its locks for large ships.
There isn't enough water! to raise the levels.!!!
Apparently the water comes from a lake, not the oceans on either side as I always thought:eek:
And they expect the water level to continue to decrease. Causing slowing of all the shipments of goods through the canal.
I have watched for years Lake Powell emptying with the white chalk-like color down the cliffs.
    ???

I think many of the man-made lakes in the U.S. southwest have refilled somewhat over the past year.
The Panama Canal is processed by lake water since it was easier during the initial construction and engineering. Panama has been suffering from a lack of rainfall to refill those lakes. The problem is exacerbated by the construction of larger locks to transport larger ships which take more water to refill. I don't know what is the future for the canal, but since much of U.S. shipping goes through it, it will definitely become a supply chain issue.

This is a pretty interesting video. It’s not the usual climate change hysteria, it’s about a genuine mystery about what is going on with earth’s methane levels. Basically they don’t know and don’t understand why it’s happening. The video does give a nice overview, over geological time, of the natural cycles the earth moves through and where we are now.
