I stopped using fabric softener because I always forget to add it. Dryer sheets for me.

I only use softly ….when I do hand washing that’s usually any “good clothing” I wear to dances that are a jersey fabric skirt and simple t shirt style good top .

They don’t really need softly added to hand rinse …..however it’s essential additive to the rinse water when washing my knee high stockings and pedi coats or they stick to me …..yep tried vinegar it just doesn’t work like softly

I have not added anything for well over 20 yrs. Clean water rinse and clean clothes, that is the goal. And ironing??? Who does that nonesence?

Tightly ball up a piece of aluminum foil. Toss it in the dryer. It absorbs the static electricity and softens laundry. It works. :D

    I remember ironing.
My hubby's mom ironed his t-shirts! and probably his boxers.
Uhmmmm. I never did that. I used to iron his handkerchiefs but just fold them now out of the dryer. There are clothes here that need ironing but we seldom wear them anymore.

Anything in my life that even had a hint of wanting to be ironed, is long gone...

Brings to mind the world of the mangles, people with higher bucks owned mangles....

So funny on all that ironing balony.
