Oh this is great Babs The manager is a sweet friend of mine now too. She does search and rescue of animals after floods, fires etc. That really got us yackin as I so love animals Anyway, she was telling me the same thing about fabrics I could put up, and she mentioned a sort of wallpaper I could use as well. I like the idea of the fabric though?? I will see what I can find eventually Thanks for this Denise
Very nice color schemes, Denise. Have you chosen which one and which room is going to be graced first?
@Denise Happyfeet - So understand what you are saying because its how I felt, now I feel content Soon, you will too, once it all comes together As for the photos - scared to do that, in case you hate it !
I know how you feel about posting pics but I wouldn't hate it. I would love it for you because it makes you happy
My folks came from Canada. My grandparents on my dads side are from Wales, and I so love England. London is a place I pray to get to visit one day. I would love to see Wales of course, but every New Years Eve I watch the fireworks at Picadilly, or near Big Ben??
@Denise Happyfeet - Big Ben, Trafalgar Square all around there I miss the 'old' London and I'd have loved you to visit there, now - if I were you, go to Wales instead Maybe in the future - London will be better, not sure though. The villages outside of London are still intact and loverly
No decision yet Von, but my friend noticed me being drawn to "salmon" colors. She pointed it out because I didn't notice. Purples and greens are my fave, but I know I'll have to find a happy medium between too dark, and too light, for me anyway I just want cozy. Don't care for gawdy, or too bright. The color schemes, some of, are brighter than I would go, but I can always look for the shades, tone them down some I'll try to keep you posted, and appreciate your reply. I thought it could be a fun thread, and I would love to hear others ideas, and even suggestions. I love input, feedback, because I don't really know what a "me" type home would be for sure, LOL!! I know, sort of early-world treehouse, complete with a rope for my Tarzan, if I should ever meet him, LOL!!
hey @Babs Hunt thanks for the idea, I just found tons of sites for renters and non-permanent wallpaper ideas, including the fabric you mentioned. I'm not saying I like any of these, but this is just one site I found already http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/categories/renters-solutions
I think this is kind of cozy, but a bit too much teal I think But I will be starting with photos most likely, and I plan to use some of my own photos I've taken. My friend Tanya works at the Art Gallery (well, we have 3 I think in town) and she wants me to put up one of my shots to sell. I think that would be a miracle if it sold for anything, LOL!!
