Could Or Would You Support A Government Guaranteed Income Plan?

    I could make it as well. I am always looking into alternatives to every situation. But I have been concerned. Hubby's pension is a lot less than $1000 a month. With our SS, we do make out ok for now. But the pension stays the same forever and SS does not nor will it keep up with inflation. There are a lot of people out there with no retirement savings and not the smarts or opportunity to keep up with what is going on especially as they get older.
    Government assistance, I always thought, was a safety net--not a forever anchor if you break your leg.
    One needs to plan and have a nest egg for emergencies.

    They are not giving it away for free, the gov gets its money from taxes, someone is footing the bill.

    They are printing it out of thin air--no gold or any backing. They don't need our taxes except to control us. The inflation will bear this out as it all unravels.
