When my Chipper was younger, he loved al kinds of toys, and his favorite ones were the ones that "talked". He had an Elmo doll that used a battery and when you squeezed the tummy or his hand, Elmo would say phrases such as "Elmo loves you !", or "Come play with Elmo". Chipper loved to hear Elmo talk and he would pat on the doll with his little feet, just like this puppy in the video was doing. Now that he is old, he still likes his toys; but he does not think about them like he did when he was younger.
I was watching this little youtube video, and I can just imagine @Ken Anderson having something like this one for his screensaver on the Mac, and his cats would all be gathered around to watch the fish. I bet it would keep them entertained when the squirrels are not out for the cats to watch.
No, because my screen would be ruined beyond repair. Ella would try to catch whatever might be moving there. I do have three catsitter DVDs, which I've spoken of here before. They are video of all sorts of critters on a loop, so that it will start over once it reaches the end. My cats aren't very interested in the fish, but the squirrels, chipmunks, mice, and other critters hold their interest, as do the birds.
This is a very upset cockatoo who is supposed to get in his carrier and go to the vet to get his toenails trimmed.
I could not understand him either, @Chrissy Cross ; but I could tell that he knew what he was trying to say and he kept repeating the same thing over and over. It seemed like his owner could understand him though.
This is Griffi the Cockatoo, which has become an internet youtube sensation. There are all kinds of videos of this little almost featherless fellow happily dancing to a variety of music. Griffi is a rescue cockatoo, and had become so stressed that he pulled out all of his feathers, but now he seem to be in a home where he is happy and loved. This is his “debut” music video (as opposed to unscripted ones where he is just dancing).
