I’m not sure if the word “agenda” is the proper word but the key word “hypocrisy” does seem to be a definite trait of the progressive movement. The “progressive” city council of Minneapolis wants to defund the police but at the same time they charge the citizens thousands of dollars for private security. The higher ups [like Pelosi] want open borders and no walls but at the same time live in homes with gates and walls. They want a no gun policy but like the McClusky’s, own(ed) guns. The progressive mayors of cities that have been trashed allowed them to get that way and now want the whole of the U.S. to pay for their inadequacies. The rioting Antifa and BLM organizations are wonderful organizations it seems until they approach a progressive mayor’s or governor’s home. In other words, to heck with the good citizens and their homes and businesses, I’m more important. And the beat goes on....and on....and on with religion, education, health care, etc. etc.
To add to my last post without doing an edit, I’d like to mention a small tidbit that has [finally] been brought up on the floor of Congress. The progressive community is busy trying to omit any historic icon or literature that is even vaguely associated with slavery. N. Pelosi herself proclaimed that all items and pictures associated with slavery be removed from government buildings. So, using Pelosi’s reasoning, GOP’s Gohmert announced a bill that would remove the Democratic Party in its entirety from holding a position in the U.S. Government. It seems that whilst the DNC is looking for monsters, they are now faced with recognizing that the monster is ....their own party.
Where dose stupidity start maybe by education. The rioters arrested in Portland the majority were teachers.
Those were demonstrators in Portland, but the demonstration was on May Day, 2017. The demonstration was part of a world wide demonstration concerning workers rights. In Portland, some joined who were also protesting attacks on immigrants. NPR
I guess typing in a search on antifa arrested in Portland would not come up with the same people???? https://www.qwant.com/?q=Antifa arrested in portland &t=images
So, what are the thoughts here about federal secret police joining with local police to oppose the protesters inn these cities? They're not just protecting federal property - they're arresting peaceful protesters. Posse comitatus anyone?
Trying to find the innocent protester, Is that the ones using green lasers to permanently blind police officers - the ones shooting a small black girl - the ones throwing bricks or maybe the ones burning down buildings – the ones pulling down statues I don’t know which peaceful protester your talking about
My opinion? This Portland incident was just another hastily put together re-election campaign scheme to scare people and distract attention from failures in other areas, after looking at the polls. Now they have even more people in Portland angry. If the Feds wanted to guard federal property, they would guard it, as in "form a line around and protect." I doubt these "secret police" even know clearly what their mission is.
Candace Owens believes racially-inspired police brutality is a myth. She should look at the Portland protests. Oregon is exceptional in this respect. It was begun as a white only state, refusing admission to other races. Even today it is only 2% black - the lowest in the country. In Portland, Questions Swirl Around Local Police’s Coordination With Federal Officers https://theintercept.com/2020/07/24/portland-federal-police-protests/ Of course The intercept is just another communist controlled media publication, right?
Well when everything on the sight talks about rightwing and secret police, its my guess that they're certainly left ward leaning
I lived in La Grande, OR for months without seeing a black person. I didn't consciously register this and it was only when I saw my first black person that I was startled by it without knowing, at first, quite why. I lived in the most racist state in the country and wasn't even aware of it. People like Candace Owen, who deny racist police brutality are just refusing to see it. I, myself, wasn't 'refusing' to see it - I just didn't.
