Here is my biblical thoughts about the millennium, as much as I can gain insight from reading and studying. The Millennial Kingdom will begin with the sheep and goat judgment as Jesus taught in the gospels, and He will sit on His throne, gather the nations separating the people either right or left, according to what they have done their lives. They have either placed their trust and faith in Him, or they have not. So, only Christians who have survived the Tribulation will enter the millennial Kingdom. Some will have become Christians after the rapture (there is much debate on when this is, but that’s for a later time), because they will realize that the prophesy of the rapture is a reality. All who enter the M Kingdom will serve Jesus and help Him rule over the nations. Many saints who are resurrected will have been beheaded for their testimony and for proclaiming the Word of God, and for not giving worship to the beast or his statue. If you are now a Christian, you will enter into the Kingdom, because either you’ll die and be resurrected (at the rapture), or you’ll live long enough to survive the Tribulation. However, there will be one last rebellion at the end of the Millennial. That’s because many persons will be born by those who have not received glorified bodies (at the rapture) because they became Christians “too late” for the rapture, but lived to enter the Kingdom in their normal bodies. Their children and grand children will come to resent Jesus and His rule, having never experienced a world without Jesus, so rebellion rises up in their hearts. Remember, Satan is let out of prison, so he’ll lead the rebellion and deceive the nations in every corner of the earth. His army will surround Jerusalem. But he will be defeated and thrown into the lake of fire, after which Jesus will judge all who have died in their sins. This is the great white throne judgment where the Lamb’s Book of life will be opened, containing the names of Christians. If one’s name is not there, he/she will join Satan in the lake. Christians will enter the New Jerusalem, and eternity will begin.
