One thing for sure, with us, that is, even though it was 10+ years ago, we seemed to be much more active when we lived in Colorado than we do here. Heck, I think we were more during the week we were in Colorado this past July, than we are here. But, now that the temps here are lowering during the day on weekends, and I'm almost fully recovered from both eye surgeries, we can again head to the Range and do some target shooting. However, I do know one thing, we will both probably be taking ibuprofen/Motrin the night afterwards. It's been quite a while since we've been to the Range.

Death is nature's way of advising you to slow down.

    Death …????????????????????
Sorry but I am NOT ready to accept that option...… no way....

I will continue to do what I can as often as I can until I can't do it anymore..

I wasn't the Author of that quote, Steve...I only repeated it!
I'm with you, which is why I recently joined a fitness club at age 82!

I've definitely slowed down quite a bit and have less energy too. But I'm happy as long as I am still able to enjoy (although at a slower pace) the people and things I love. I actually enjoy the slower pace of life that I'm in now much more then the hurry, scurry, life of working, raising a family, etc. Now I have time to savor the good life instead of just rushing through it. :)

I think age slows us down rather than that we slow down for age. Without ever making a decision to slow down, most of us find ourselves slowed.
