If time travel were possible - I would go back 50 years and make a few minor adjustments to my life. Then I would jump up to the last 30 years to see if it changed anything. If not, um probably no need to carry on ;)

I'm always younger in my dreams, I can't see me but people around me are young and I feel part of them. Now that I write that, seems really weird :confused:

I've always wanted to go back to earlier days of my life, not go back and still be this age. Two problems I'd have with the opportunity would be, one, I'd want to know what I know now, and two, I'd be too smart to live a normal life, maybe not better at all.

It's not weird, My dreams sometimes i'm young sometimes I'm an observer, Sometimes i'm completely different person.
I do feel sometimes that's a dream It's trying to relay information, However it's in code, and Can be hard to interpret.

I agree except I think it's more like a prayer book or a missile, Bible seems too large to me.

My older sister and brother went to church, maybe one time only when they were kids and were give little, teenie bibles. That's where I got the idea ;) Of course kids with good eyesight can see teenie letters, and I even remember looking at one that was given to me by my sis or bro, but never got into it. I don't poopoo any ideas as I don't believe anyone will know anything until we die.

At my age, I can't imagine anything really extraordinary happening in my life. I guess I finally got over wishing and dreaming of that lust for life to come back, lol ;) Now all I want to do is just survive what's left.

I've always thought I'd like to go back in time to my childhood even for a day and have my adult mined. But I get the feeling that I just might be disappointed because my Memories were from a child's view, It may not be as enjoyable from an adult standpoint.

I know exactly what you mean last few weeks. Especially have been very bad, The things I enjoyed are slowly Evaporating. I used to see a butterfly and that would make my day, Nothing seems to interest me today, I've even lost interest in the foods that I love.
I keep hoping That my energy Will come back, I'm starting to think my Age is catching up to me I'll be eighty in a few weeks. I stay positive for my family, I will not let them down.
Sorry for bringing all this stuff up but you and I have to try and make the best of it.:p

When we had that sense of wonder, and learning, and adventure to come. Wouldn't want to go back as an adult living in reality ;) although some is very good, and I still find some of it ;)

Edit: That movie Miracle on 34th Street when her mother was unknowingly taking away her daughter's childhood?? I wouldn't want to miss being that young and carefree, for the most part ;)

If time travel were possible, I would like to go back in time just far enough to know my parents when they were young. There is so much that I now wish I know about their early life, that i don’t ever remember hearing, and didn’t know to ask about.
I read a wonderful time travel novel about a person who did that. He didn’t know he was going to be time traveling, but he went in to explore an old mine and it took him back to just before WW2, when his grandmother was a young woman.
The name is called “The Mine”, and it is by John A. Heldt, one of my favorite time-travel authors. Since I have Kindle UNlimited, I can read all of his books for free.

It's ok with me, I like to hear folks "get real" online. I don't feel so alone. I have trouble sticking to getting out often enough, sort of smelling the roses ya know :) Mostly, I am lonely because I got too independent. I think meeting the right person can remedy that, if they are feeling some of the same ways. I go everywhere, I do go, by myself and see people holding hands and wonder, why not me Lord. And He usually tells me, Denise, your picker was broke. Well, I got to caught up in the late 60s and 70s. That's when the morals vanished, or at least in my lifetime ;)

Just want to add thank God some folks are still holding down the Fort. Not everyone has given up on right and wrong.

Sounds like something I'd enjoy @Yvonne Smith. I don't have the "unlimited" but I love my Kindle and use both Kindle Store, and 2 libraries in Overdrive App ;)
