The “The Kings” can also be referred to as the Maji or astronomers that went to investigate the fulfilling of the prophesy of the birth of the son of God or Jesus.
The Maji actually traveled in fairly large caravans so there could have been up to 50 or even a hundred of them. The three that are mentioned in Matthew are in conjunction with the three gifts that were given upon their arrival.

And no, there was probably no parumpumpum-pum unless of course it was a camel making the noise. .

 

Conservatives keep inside their brain so many things of yesteryear that there is no space for new things.

With liberals or free thinkers their brain is open to let anything new fall in and everything keeps falling out also.

 

Free Thinking for me means not being set to any Religious or Political thought or disipline.

As Ken said not a member of any such group but pretty much describes my way of thinking.

Humanist ideas
Most humanists would agree with the ideas below:

• There are no supernatural beings.
• The material universe is the only thing that exists.
• Science provides the only reliable source of knowledge about this universe.
• We only live this life - there is no after-life, and no such thing as reincarnation.
• Human beings can live ethical and fulfilling lives without religious beliefs.

I’m ex Catholic and wasn’t very religious after that....

I had a horrid summer with anxiety,depression and health issues....started going to church with a friend...it’s not catholic...all they do is really just read the Bible and sing a few songs. It’s a small church with the nicest people...the pastors are all nice also...funny too!


They do this without pay...and nobody ever bugs you for donations....but I do ...different amount each week depending on what I have.

I look forward to Sunday’ and church for some reason I feel the safest when I’m sitting there for an hour...don’t know why.
