I use Google most every day. My favorite. I use it for spelling, looking up subjects.
I tried them all. Go rid of google for a short while on all my devises. Decided the
others didn't know beans. Went back to google.

I am assuming that @Lon Tanner means using google in the general sense of asking whether we do searches online frequently to find answers to questions, or learn about something new that we are interested in.
In my case, my preferred search engine is Bing (plus I get points for using it that I can cash in for Amazon rewards), and I do search for answers to my questions each day, and multiple times per day.
I also use YouTube when I want a verbal explanation, pictures, or just a good visual tutorial about learning/using some item or something I want to be able to do.
I love that I can easily research everything, from simple questions, to difficult problems, and usually find out what I want to know about whatever I am researching.

I'd use Bing even without Bing Rewards and, even with the gift certificates, I wouldn't use it if I didn't like it best. It's a better search engine.

With vast improvements in technology, it would be easy to assume that things would be easier to find online than before but the search engines are getting worse. It's all about money now. Information takes a backseat.

I use Google to gain information, but mostly I post to educate others about Historical events and details, as well as Musical Compositions and their composers, Scientific events, Musical Instruments, early Automobiles, Railroad history, Astronomical facts, Motorcycles, Guns, and Nuclear Devices.

    'Bye...

I use Microsoft Edge to research a lot of things. I have the most curious mind of anyone I know. Good and bad, because there are things I think I'm right about and turns out I'm wrong about.
