Incredible... I've never heard of them which is amazing given my love of all things music and musical... but I love those.. .
@Holly Saunders I apologize if I got off-track here, it all stemmed from my Uncle, the Tool & Die Maker. While staying overnight once long ago in Carson City, Nevada, late afternoon my wife & I walked the main street amidst a nice light melting snowfall, not dressed for it having driven up from Las Vegas, and we stepped into a big antique shop. There, in the middle of the floor, stood a magnificent Violano Virtuoso, for sale, set up to play for 25 cents. I had never heard of them before, if my Dad had mentioned them, I did not recall it; he was by then dead. It played so poignantly and beautifully, I asked it's price: $ 5,000. A bargain in 1974, a bargain today at $ 30,000! Frank
