I like good food but like many ypeople just accepted it as something we must do each day to stay healthy and maintain ourselves. I always enjoyed my mother's cooking as well as meals prepared by my wives. All were good cooks. It's hard for me to believe how much I am enjoying food now at this stage of my life. The three meals per day as a part of my monthly rent are truly gourmet and prepared by a outstanding chef that seasons food with herbs, spices and sauces that I never have had before. I never thought I would reach my present age and have food as the HIGHLIGHT of my weeks activities. I now eat and enjoy califlower, brussel sprouts, turnips, swiss chard, broccoli. There was a time when I would not eat them unless covered with a cheese sauce.
