This reminds me of a family friend named Salvador. He was 65 at the time when we heard of his sickness. We visited him in the hospital to learn that he had anxiety attack. But he stayed in the hospital for only 2 days and was eventually released with prescription medication, mostly relaxant. And the reason for the anxiety attack? He dropped his phone in the toilet bowl because he was using it while sitting there. It was a disaster and he was scared that his nephew who was living with him would be mad at his mistake. That was a neat lesson for us not to use the phone while in the bathroom. By the way, Salvador gave us a puppy that we named Tisoy and is now 8 years old.
Yes, unless I forget. That seems to be the most likely place to get a call. Especially while in the shower with your hair covered in soap suds. I should only shower after midnight.
No, unless I'm expecting an important call. Of course last week I was waiting on a call from the delivery guys with my new recliner, and I totally forgot that I had my cellphone set to "Silence Unknown Callers." What a smooth move on my part. Thankfully, I glanced at my phone to see that I had missed a call and that the recliner delivery would be in 30 minutes.
No. My phone usually sits in my office, where I ignore it 90% of the time unless I want to make a call. I don't take it with me when I go to another room, to another floor, or when I am outdoors. I only take it with me when I am driving somewhere.
My phone stays either on my desk or in my handbag. But since I have the Apple Watch, it is basically the same as carrying the phone around with me. Should something happen to me in the bathroom, I can call for help with the watch, or if I passed out for some reason, then the watch would call emergency numbers for me.
I've never appreciated the sound of flushing in the background when I've called someone (or that tell-tale echo), so I try to not do it to others. However, those pesky Vehicle Maintenance Insurance guys deserve it.
I did a couple of times when expecting a call and the call never came and I forgot to take it with me when I left out. I don't do that any more.
No, my cellular telephone is nowhere in the house. It is in my Car's console, where it is kept only for roadway emergencies. I don't even know its number!
