In our collection of mountain wildlife figurines, my wife has a small Snow Owl. When we first seen it, she said "Honey, I gotta have that!"

 

An Owl cannot be kept. They are foraging creatures and must hunt...at night.

To "own" an owl, you must be willing to visit its habitat.

Many types of animals cannot be privately owned in many places, including lions, monkeys, Fruit-Bats, etc.

How, then, are zoos able to?

NEVER, EVER attempt to keep an Owl in any kind of cage, however spacious! The Owl is a Predatory Carniverous Hunting creature and should never try to be domesticated!
