Sorry about the downtime. Tech support fixed it quickly once I reported it but I don't know how long it was down before I found it, since I didn't get online until very late in the morning. I don't know what happened with it, but fixing it had something to do with running a FSCK on the RAID partition, but that means nothing to me.
You need to go to bed earlier like I do and be on here at at least 4-5 am my time. I'm gonna dock your pay otherwise. Just kidding, please don't ban me.

Well, now you know how much everyone has missed the forum, @Ken Anderson ! I started receiving messages about 2AM from people who thought they had been banned from here, and had no idea what they did to get banned. I am sure you were getting messages, too ! I messaged everyone that I knew how to reach, and then sent a “secret code” message on the “other forum” ; so people would see it from there and know they were not banned, and that it was just that the forum itself was temporarily down for some unknown reason.
Someone would have to try to login before they would know they were banned, and that couldn't happen because the site was down. Besides, how many of you have been doing things that you would be banned for? It's not like I ban people haphazardly, or even often. It only took a couple of minutes to get it back up once I noticed it was down.
I sometimes think I do...when I was rehashing my posts I though the Alex jones post and that pic of the sex toy in your torture thread...not because you would ban me but I know porn or x rated isn't allowed on forums. Other than that I'm an angel.
You're right, I didn't think I was banned. I felt that there was something wrong with the server...I know you wouldn't ban anyone without at least a warning, and that's rare in itself!! .. I did say in my mail to you that you were probably going to be inundated by sobbing posters..lol
Yeah, I was sad when I thought I had been banned. I didn't know what I had done to get banned abruptly, but I get such a kick out of being on this forum that I would apologize for whatever I had done to offend someone.
It may have been only on my end, but I had some trouble connecting to the forum earlier. I have had trouble on a couple of other sites, so it may be related to my connection, rather than the forum's server, though. I put in a tech support request; although I haven't gotten a response to that, things seem to be working now.
