    Where are they?
A handyman I talked to said he could use his drone to check roofing, chimney problems, third story etc...

That place is just south and east of Greenfield, NH, on the corner of Rt. 31 and New Boston Rd at coordinates 42.920591, -71.841442 (paste coordinates into your browser's search field).

Also, drones are very useful inspection tools but you need a drone that can get up close without crashing into things. My Skydio 2 can do that but it's not how I use it.

I've seen the power company inspecting lines with them.

I use my Skydio 2 to inspect things that I find interesting (e.g.., old buildings, rail yards, train stations, scenic vistas, historic villages, etc.). Looking at something from the air gives the object grater context than just from the ground. An example is this farm land along the Deerfield River. First is the ground view, shown below.

Then, below is the aerial view of the same area.

The light is so good in your videos. Do you pick a set time of day for best exposure?

As a general rule, these videos are impromptu. When I am someplace on the motorcycle that looks interesting, I take photos and, if weather conditions are such (e.g. winds not exceeding 20 mph), fly the drone.for a look around. Some videos turn out better than others.

    Good morning to all-
I am pleased but not surprised to find others on this forum who enjoy flying their drones. I tend to shoot single photos rather than vidoeos, but then, i can use single photos in my magazine work, but not videos, so...
Mr. West, I value your drone work highly- good shooting in every way.
I will try to attach a photo or two that I shot with my drone.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

My wife and I watch these HD drone videos on our big screen. Here’s a short one of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. I stayed there for a few days on the way to visiting one of our factories in Heerbrugg. Stunning little place. If you look carefully in the last half you can see hang gliders launching from the top of the cliff.
