I hadn't paid much attention to this, but apparently abortion rights were on the ballot in 10 states. Here's the outcome... Green states passed: South Dakota and Florida proposals did not pass. Nebraska had 2 competing initiatives, Nebraska Initiative 434, which prohibits abortion past the first trimester, passed. Nebraska Initiative 439, which would establish a constitutional right to an abortion, did not pass.
Trump's electoral count is up to 292. The remaining states (Arizona, Alaska, Nevada) will likely add 20 more.
I saw one commentator (a doctor) say that the abortion rate has actually gone up after returning the issue to the states.
It seems to me that Melania is more involved and showing more animation than before. She has actually been smiling. Maybe the exposure to the Vances has changed her outlook; those two are so positive it's refreshing. I am so glad Trump picked JD.
