I had to look further into this since it doesn't seem to make sense at first. The fact is that the votes can be counted, but still must be VERIFIED. So if the voters aren't eligible then the votes will ultimately be discarded. That's why the ballots are called "provisional."

Many states have provisional ballots, but in most cases they are not counted unless there is enough of them to make a difference is each election, i.e, there might be enough to affect the state house election but not enough to affect the Presidential one, so they could be counted in the smaller election but not in the "big" one but it varies from state to state.

I think the issue at stake was that they were going to count provisional ballots without verifying them. Sounds like now they will.

I could be wrong. But then what was there to go to court over?

I just saw that Elon Musk and J.D. Vance are negotiating with Ron Paul about joining the Trump Administration should Trump be elected. One of Ron Paul's big issues is the Federal Reserve. Rand Paul has carried the torch his father lit, and both are demanding an audit of the Fed. Bankers have been going to the wall resisting this ideal. It would be interesting if the Fed were eliminated and we could return to a Constitutional money system with only the Treasury could generate money instead of a group of private banks.

The good thing about the Ron Paul mention is that libertarians on the fence will enthusiastically vote for Trump.

As I mentioned in another thread, Ron Paul has been very critical of Trump, but that has never been a deal-breaker for Trump. They are on the same side on several important issues, while they differ on others.

Same with RFK. They are far form agreeing on everything, but, like many Democrats, if they can get things done they want done, they can ignore the things they don't like. RFK is health and food purity, but he is liberal on many other issues. Same with Ron Paul and others. As Doctor Phil says, "You can't love every single thing about anybody, but you can still love the person."

With Trump I expect a "coalition of the sane."

Nobody should ever expect an administration to line up with their own desires 100%, people have different needs and priorities.

Because they are not allowed to think for themselves, Democrats rarely disagree on anything.

Well in all fairness, it has been Elon who's mentioning Ron Paul.

I did a study about Federal Reserve years ago. I mention it here now and then. I hope they do get rid of it. I like Ron Paul.

Is anyone considering Amazon's new foray into Election Night coverage? I think they got a network guy (Jennings?) to host and said they'll showcase presentation technology far beyond "magic wall" boards.

I'm surprised I didn't get an advertisement for this one I get all kinds of crap from Amazon wanting me to spend more money than I already do on there. One thing I really like on Amazon is the Kindle unlimited I'm finding a lot of books I want to read on there including some poetry by Robert Frost the Yvonne turned me on to oh I'm sorry it was Joe Riley Yvonne got me interested in Kindle unlimited so whoops I got off track Jacob how do I find this thing on Amazon?

I've actually had it crossed my mind that I don't even want to watch any of the coverage I don't want to have a radio on I don't want to see anything on the internet about what's happening in the election it's just too frightening for me I think.
