LOL, oh she'd accept it, it's easy for her, she'd just deny she ever called us fascists, boom, taken care of. Why would Trump do that to donors that counted on the money being spent for his benefit, not kamala's. This doesn't sound like Trump at all. I could see him sending it to those that FEMA neglected, or spending it to get rid of the illegals, or housing the homeless, geeeeeawwwwd, sure the hell not paying the bills for the "snakes". I'm not listening to this one any longer, not til I hear it right from Trump that he wants to do it.
Well the sense of humor around here are starting to align with Greg gutfields, and he doesn't get a lot of laughs.
The problem isn't so much with the delivery but with its reporting. Those who see and hear Trump joking recognize it as a joke, but the media will pretend that he was serious and report it as if it were a serious statement. They do that for just this reason; so that people who didn't hear him tell the joke will get upset with him over something that was never intended to be taken seriously. His jokes aren't always funny, but it's usually clear that he's joking.
I'll just put this here. I was so scared that the Democrats would win this election... by hook or by crook. I was filled with dread at the thought of another half-wit sitting in the White House for the next 4 years while our beautiful country circles the drain. I actually feel hopeful and relaxed for a change, and a little bit surprised by the "red wave". Thank goodness, America is not as far gone as I feared. Maybe there is hope for us after all.
California is still playing ballot games. Probably trying to erode Trump's popular vote total for optics and "adjust" local races.
Lots of other foolishness going on in the legislature. I worried about the 'lame duck' congress and it turns our there was good reason. The secret ballot going on in the Senate for Senate Majority leader. All of the candidates are less than desired but two are 100% anti Trump Rhinos. Tell everyone to contact their Senators objecting to the secrecy of the vote and to vote for Rick Scott, the one candidate that is not too bad.
I suspect we are going to see a lot of trouble with this Thune guy. Lots of X people wanted Thune and Cronyn or whatever his name is, out, and Rick Scott in. I've always liked what I've heard from Rick Scott.
We at least have the list of the people who actually did vote for Scott, so we know who not to keep the next primary. I like Senator Tuberville, and he did vote for Scott, but Senator Katie Britt was one who said she would, but then didn’t do it. We already knew that she was a RINO, but she was financed by Mitch McConnell, and they destroyed her opponent, so that she won. I do’t think she will get another term. Like Trump said, vote GOP, and worry about the RINO’s in 2 years. Most of them follow along about 80% of the time, and if we had Dem majority in the house, then we would not have as good of a chance at passing important things as we do, even with the RINO’s. I saw an announcement that Tucker was going to be press secretary, but yesterday, he said that he would not do that position; so I think this might not be a real announcement.
If we can end the "Woke" nonsense, that would be a vast improvement. If adults want to dress like wackadoodles, cut off body parts, or sleep with anything that breathes, I don't care so much as long as I don't have to pay for it. But keep it in the bedroom and out of the classrooms, the news cycles, and our faces. You have a right to be insane and to seek the company of other insane people, but I don't want to be either a spectator, a participant, or a sponsor. If the Trump Administration can help to create an environment where it's safe to acknowledge insanity when you see it, the meek will step up and finish the job. When board members of businesses and other organizations no longer feel threatened by the tiny Woke minority, they may find the courage to say no to them. When people quit doing business with those who don't get off the crazy train, that might bolster their courage. As a Christian, I can't say that homosexuality is okay. If it's not okay with God, it shouldn't be okay with people seeking to follow God. That said, God doesn't tell me that I should hate people who are gay or lesbian. I don't approve of smoking either, but I don't try to force you to live as I would have you live, as long as you're not blowing it in my face. On the contrary, we should be tolerant of people's shortcomings. Until the last decade or so, it seems that most people were. Gay people were free to marry one another, live wherever they could afford to live, and do business with whoever they wanted. No one who is gay is harmed by my disapproval, and unless they asked, they wouldn't even be aware of it. Even trans people were free to live by whatever delusions they chose to live by. If a guy looked like a girl, sounded like a girl, and acted like a girl, they would be accepted as a girl. Since I don't go around sleeping with people I'm not married to, that wouldn't affect me, and my disapproval harmed no trans person. But if you looked, talked, and acted like a guy dressing up as a girl, I could reasonably be expected to view you as weird. I wouldn't point at you and laugh, but I certainly wouldn't put you in charge of the nation's nuclear waste because you might start drinking the stuff. You don't make good decisions, so you shouldn't have access to anything you don't own. This didn't become a problem until the Woke agenda began to demand that we all embrace, celebrate, and finance their sin and give them extra privileges, including access to everyone's children. This didn't become a problem until the Woke agenda demanded that everyone set aside a proper understanding of the English language and to fear pronouns. The Woke agenda forced us to take sides, whereas most of us were content to remain neutral. Many of us would like to go back to being neutral again. If the Trump Administration can help to make it safe for us to do so, that would, in itself, be a major improvement.
did you see the long list that voted against Rick Scott and four Thorne thone whatever his name is? People like John Kennedy and Josh Hawly voted for Thone, and I hear he's a trump hater?? https://photos.app.goo.gl/3SssdhudmButAHoq6
It was supposed to be a secret ballot. I guess some of the Senators may have released their votes. There was a "Whip vote" tally, but that was only a guess. It was an attempt by McConnell to make Trump's job more difficult. I wonder if they can hold another election after the new Senators are seated?
I'll grab the post I saw on x but I'm not sure I can plug it in here maybe just a plain old copy of the text from it and paste that I'll be back. It's above, sorry, I lost where I stuck the first link to a list that's going around X, of who voted for who in the senate, a leaked list they called it. Don't know if it's accurate or not.
