It’s not that I have a lot of care about the whole debacle but was offering up alternative thoughts on the matter which did glean some participation.
Interestingly though, the thought was born of the fact that Fox island (one of the Fox islands) has been hammered away at for decades from people who are indeed looking for some treasure that was supposed to be buried in 1905 or some such year and supposedly has some curse on it.

Now, as far as a single stick of premium dynamite doing that kind of damage I do heartily agree. It would take around 6 sticks to do that or one well placed mortar round. (fox holes are made of such mortar craters of which I am very well familiar).

Fact of the matter is, we’ll never know until they catch the person whose dastardly deed made that hole in the sand. (or until pyro or an explosives tech tells us.)

It’s a crater left by a meteor which was too small to be detected. It’s perfectly round with raised edges and surrounded by rays from the impact.
Here's from the moon showing rays, symmetry and raised edges.

It certainly resembles an impact crater whether mortar or meteor, but where is the mortar or meteor? That is the mystery and what caused the smoke and the bang? Also, where are the residues and other results of an explosion? I find this an interesting mystery. If a device was used to make the explosives directional, where is that device?

Some of you might have already read the news about what is thought to be small detonation explosions happening on the second floor of the White House.
I have heard about this from a couple of people that I follow for news, and the consensus of opinion seems to be that someone is setting off small explosions that would weaken the structure of the White House.
We also have been reading about a Russian submarine just off of the east coast of America, so it might be easy to start another war by accusing the Russians of blowing up the White House.

I read a week back a meteor was expected to land in the US somewhere. That is all I remember, other than was said unsure of exactly where it would hit.

A large asteroid passed by us on the 18th (came within 12,000,000 miles.)

It will be the closest an asteroid will pass for the next 200 years...but it's never too soon to start preparing ;)
