It appears there was open rebellion in the white house press conference with Dr. Fauci and the press secretary. A reporter asked Fauci a question about the lab origin of Covid, and the press secretary stepped in to prevent Fauci form answering. That seemed to lead to open rebellion among the reporters from all the media. The rebellion apparently caused the press secretary to walk away and take Fauci with her to end the conference. Interesting.... Google it for yourself if interested and see if I have it wrong.
You have it right. I watched the video yesterday on Twitter. She was pretty snarky with the reporters.
Is that the reporter who had his White House credentials taken away? Imagine if President Trump did that.
Let’s see now. If I were a reporter going to a press conference starring none other than Dr. Fauci, what question would I ask? If I were Dr. Fauci and was the main attraction at a press conference, what questions would I need to field? In my opinion, if whomever scheduled the event with Fauci didn’t have any clue of the types of questions that were going to be asked then that scheduler shouldn’t even be hired to coordinate Uber drivers. Moreover, if St. Pierre and Fauci didn’t think that those questions would have to be fielded then they both need to refrain from making public appearances. One might be kind and say that they both suffer from some form of naïveté but in actuality it is stark idiocy.
I think the press secretary DOES border on dictatorial idiocy. As I understand it, even the reporters from the Washington Post and New York Times were upset by her behavior with respect to the question. I suspect they intended to ask such questions themselves.
I listened to the portion of the press conference dealing with Covid, which took the first 45 minutes. The "controversial" part started about 25 minutes into the conference and lasted approx one minute. Fauci left the stage about 2 minutes after that. Click below and judge for yourself, if you like. LINK I think the point of the COVID part of this conference was to get out a message to the public before the holidays. Not to relitigate the whole 3 years of Covid. It seems like making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Not on my front burner of interest right now. Maybe after the holidays and we get back into the mood. There will be hearings in the House. Lots of them.

Did you see how quickly the media, mostly MSNBC, dropped the stories about the shooting in a Colorado gay bar when it was released that the shooter was a non-binary person? They were hammering on the MAGA people and Fox until the id was revealed; the story has now essentially dropped from the networks.
Just like the Gabby Giffords shooter was a Tea Party member because the media scrubbed the local roster and found a "kind of like his" name...then they discovered he was a long time Democrat who has issues. Nuthin' to see here, folks... And then there's the Paul Pelosi non-story...
