We got a dusting last night, but it is still lightly snowing. An inch was predicted, but nothing like that so far. Nothing to plow.

It got down to 28 degrees for a couple of days last week but thankfully no snow.
Heck, if we get 1/32nd of an inch the whole city panics. People call out from work, schools close down, emergency people are on standby, overpasses close down etc.

Last year I didn't even bother putting gas in the snow blower. We got so little snow that I could just push it to the side. Hoping for the same this year.

You do realize that you just jinxed it. Now there’s gonna be so much snow that it’ll be too high to sign your name in yellow in it.

BTW, it has snowed in both Henderson (where we are) and in Las Vegas before. Not very likely, but it has happened. If it did, we are completely ready for it............still have ALL of our winter clothes and not getting rid of any of it.

Usually I land up putting the snowblower on the tractor in the snow in below freezing temps but this year I have it on already in the hope that being all ready will mean that very little will fall this year (wishful thinking?!) Also got the little walk behind checked out and ready to go up from the barn and sitting in the corner of the garage to reinforce that hope ....LOL

I still have the plow on, but I haven't mounted the snowblower yet. If I need to, I can pick up the blower with forks and bring it into the heated garage where I can mount it in comfort.:)

It's snowing. Our first snow of the season just began a few moments ago.

You beat us @Ken Anderson. Snow has been predicted, but none has fallen here yet, although it is on all the surrounding mountains and my son, who lives closer to Anchorage has had snow. We just got cold so far--down to +10 F. this morning.

It didn't stay on the ground, but it was coming down.

We've not hit a low below 32°F yet. Tonight's forecast for 34°F but it will likely be lower than that at my place. For the next 8 or 9 days we won't get colder than the 40s, with most nights in the 50s and even 60s. No snow for YOU!

We had 32 degrees for about an hour one morning last week but no snow here yet. That's not so in the mountains though. Some areas have been dumped on several time and we might get some Wednesday.

I am supposed to pick up a cut, wrapped and frozen side of beef Wednesday. There has been no rain here for about two months. Wednesday is supposed to have lots of rain. Getting your frozen meat rained on is frowned upon here.

We are now predicted to get 4 to 8 inches of snow tomorrow night, so we'll see if that happens.
