Crappie are freshwater fish from north America, I think. @JBrunner This is a random picture of a dude with his catch of freshwater fish in the Himalayan terrain.
Funny you should mention that...when you told Bobby there's a difference between a marble and a nut, I was gonna comment that we're safe putting you in charge of the pecan pies. But a pee-can is something guys kept under the bed in the days before indoor plumbing, so now I'm not so sure about putting you in the kitchen.
We did a church yard sale yesterday and there were baked goods (I bought some homemade preserves.) There were two pecan pies on the table...I was tempted, but I live alone. I do not need to be eating an entire pie all by myself. By mid-morning, they had both been sold, saving me the moral dilemma.
I usually fish 2-3 days a week all year long and just got back an hour ago from a trip also went yesterday, boat limits both days, rarely do I miss a week without going..
Wow! That's a nice'un. We call them rock fish in NC. What do y'all call them in Texas? Do y'all have a season for them? Size limit? I caught a nice one a couple of weeks ago but only one.
Shirley A striped bass or STRIPER we call them an over is 20+" allowed 2 and box fish are under 20" length allowed 8, no seasons on them , winter is my favorite time as you don't get the weekend idiots out and usually better fish.
Almost a 3 man limit here rarely do we not get a boat limit, Just planning trips now for weekend, A rough decision of shooting or fishing to make or spend day with best friend probably will choose my best friend for Saturday and probably Sunday also.
Yesterday morning, we got on water about 0900 this was at 1128 and finished with 48 for boat almost non stop, we threw back 20+ the shad (bait fish) are eating the algae from the structures, the fish come to eat the shad, just a matter of understanding the patterns this time of year, my records go back almost 10 years and have all data, also water temperatures factored in to, they have just returned from up the creeks making little fish so very hungry now and aggressive. We knew this was coming just needed some warmer water to happen. It will be the same next year the exact time frames will depend on the weather here.
