From what we could tell, in driving around , we were the only ones that had the American Flag displayed anywhere in our complex. Then again, how many Millennials and Gen X display the flag? There are even former Veterans of those two Generations that don't display it.
There are some exceptions but the majority of people who fly the American Flag have at some time risked coming home under it.
Now why would you say that, Ken? I just like the United States to be UNITED! We're not like the British Empire, with territories all around the world. Hawaii is a nice territory...so is Alaska! In fact, Alaska and Hawaii enjoyed a better tourist status before becoming just another State..... Hal
Wow. Just wow Hal. I am so sure that every veteran who volunteered or was drafted for military duty would really love you for excluding their state from the United States. The flag that will cover the casket of a soldier who gave his life will be a regulation American Flag complete with 50 stars on it designating all 50 states because it was for all 50 states that he or she gave their life.
Bobby Cole's Posts: I believe that Bobby Cole is the most well-informed, erudite and well-read individual on this Forum! I can find no fault with his Vocabulary, Spelling, and Compositional Form of his posts. He is socially and politically in my camp, and this is why I'm proud to say that to me, he is the most respected of all who post on this Forum! That's it... Hal
there is no good place to fly a flag at our condo apartment house. We have a smaller Betsy Ross flag in a frame on our living room wall.
